The love I have for this bag is insubstantial! I am seriously considering buying one of these puppies over my Alexander McQueen scarf but let's be realistic here for a moment or two...I am most likely not going to be able to afford this bad boy until a couple more pay checks! I can't really afford to make a huge purchase at the moment, and if I did it would probably be towards a 5 pound textbook. Anyways I still have to make the big decision of what colour I want so I guess that buys me some time. I already have a black and gold hardware bag but I feel that the first one would be the safest choice of them all. On the other hand though I do really like the burgundy bag (it was my first choice) but I'm scared I'l get sick of the colour. And lastly there's the nude/pink one. I love love love this colour as it is so feminine but I feel that it's just too much of a trend piece. I'll probably grow tired of the pastel hype pretty soon! Oh well, a girl can admire from a far. Which would you choose? Let me know! xo

All Things Camo
Seriously, I think I'm on a blogging impulse (refer to my previous posts that occurred in the matter of 2 days) but I just could not pass up the opportunity to blog about a current love. Yup that's right, I'm into thaaat camo. In all honestly, I doubt I could confidently wear it/it would suit me but I can admire from a distance right? *Sigh, maybe for the fall season I'll work up the energy to buy one and put together an outfit for it! Who knows? Anyways, what's your take on the camo trend/style? Hit or miss? Let me know, xo!

Wishlist
Hey guys I'm back with another weekend post! This time about the wishing I am dying for! It's incredibly hard not having a job and an income to live on. I thought that leaving Aritzia for good would solve my stress and worry..and it did...for a little while. But like any good professional shopoholic I soon found myself overwhelmed with things I wanted to buy but could never afford. Actually most of the things I have wrote about in the last few months have either been a gift or have been saved up from me selling my old clothes online (I feel like a pack rat). So why should today be any different? Here is what I am currently lusting for!
2. Aritzia "Wilfred" Silk Harem Pants- I actually own something quite similar to this just not in silk. However, I bought them in a size 2 and now need them in a size 0. I think I want them in silk but I'm such a messy eater, I might be spending more money at the dry cleaners than I would expect. Ahhh, but they're just so comfy!
3. Aritzia "Wilfred" Chevalier Blazer with Satin Lapels- I only considered this after I saw a girl in the TTC wear it with cropped blue skinnies. It looked amazing! I know I wanted it in the nude colour, but after seeing how luxurious the black looks, I've changed my mind!
4. Zara Military Coat with Leather Sleeves- Kay, this is the one item I definitely know I've wanted for at least 3 months now. They sold out before but I heard them got a new stock in. Downfall? Over $100 and that's well...$100 more than what I have at the moment!
5. Aritzia "T.Babaton" Silk Blouse- Love this because its clean and simple and I think the perfect is so fitting for the spring.
6. Aritzia "Wilfred" Tamar Blazer- Adore this because of it's kimono-like sleeves. I feel like this could be dressed up or dressed down...and again the colour is just perfect!

Style Board
I think everyone has a difficult time labelling a certain style they have/are drawn too and that's why I think a style board is such a great tool to use when trying to figure out what items, celebrities or trends people naturally gravitate towards! The board came be simple. It can be just an ordinary bulletin board with cut outs of magazines, website photos, fabrics etc. or it can something like a notebook where you write down things you saw in stores or online (along with the price). I think by doing this and finding a common theme, colour, pattern etc.in these photos, individuals can at least have an easier time shopping for certain products! For example I have a best friend who has is very much into the "romantic/sweet" look while another one of my friends is a little bit more "edgy". That being said, the more "romantic" friend might be more interested in shops like Zara, Forever 21 and H&M while the other may be more into things like Hot Topic or for instance, certain areas of Forever 21. As for me personally, I have no idea what style I am. I seem to be drawn to different trends at different times, but for some reason I always come back to something graphic, street, edgy or just plain comfortable! Anyways, here is just my little take on a style board ! Happy shopping xo,

Storage Wars
So I have been looking for a new jewellery box to hold my overflowing amounts of accessories! This one was bought by my boyfriend about 2 years back for Valentines Day and was perfect at the time (seeing as I wasn't very much into collecting rings and stuff) but now has sadly become such a nuisance. I have very little storage for my earrings and the top can hardly close down now. Also, I hate having to put my necklaces in the middle compartment because they always come out tangled. And on top of that, my chunky bracelets don't even fit in the bottom! I need a new storage solution and I need one fast!

Get Happy
So yesterday I went to a job interview at The Bay that my loving friend, Jacqui, helped me get hooked up with. I was so nervous but her manager was the nicest employer I have ever met! She was so sweet, funny and pretty much reminded me of my high school math teacher (which ended up relaxing me quite a lot). The interview wasn't very formal at all and she said all I have to do is come in next Tuesday and fill out an application form, check my references and they can officially give me a job at their company! Yay! I never really thought at working at The Bay before but I was not about to give up this opportunity to work with a close friend and make some extra cash. I really hope all goes smoothly as I seem to always have a tendency to predict the worst. Fingers crossed! So being the impulsive me, I was so happy at how the interview went, I decided to head to Aritzia (Bloor location) to buy a few things. Well, actually I was head to Zara to look at this military jacket I really wanted (I'll post the photo below) but was completely sidetracked. Oh well, it happens! Anyways, I went inside and ended up falling in love with a boyfriend fit denim shirt and linen shorts. Actually, the denim shirt was on my wishlist and I finally convinced my brother, Jeffrey, to buy it for my birthday! Yay, thanks Jeffrey! Anyways the girl who cashed me out was really nice and turned out to be the "famous" jewellery maker a lot of my managers talked about at Yorkdale. I loved their drop necklaces with a bullet at the end and found out she was the one who made them! (Sadly she said she was out of materials to make a new one). I really hope she sells her stuff because they're so nice! Anyways after all seeing an old co-worker who now works as the security guard for that Aritzia I finally headed out and went home. Good day all in all :) xo

Just a Thought
March is finally here, and I seriously cannot wait for summer/spring! Pastel clothing, beautiful flowers, hot sunshine and no school! (except for the fact that I may have to do my internship over the course of 2 months but let's just pretend I didn't say that) Anyways, there's a bunch of things I think I want to do over my 4 month vacation and that starts with learning how to sew! To tell you the truth, I haven't actually used a sewing machine since I was like 8 (yeah, weird) because I was trying to sew together my favourite blanket to set aside in my memory box (where did that go?...new summer goal). Back to what I was saying, so yeah my mom sews a lot and she used to sew a bunch of things for me when I was younger. I really want to learn to make skirts, pants etc. on top of my DIY projects. Funny enough, this was actually suggested to me by my dad, which I guess is quite sweet. Anyways, I should be getting back to doing my essay so I'll leave you with just a few spring pieces I am dying to wear! (but cannot afford) xo!

Shopping Splurge
So I finally had the items (and the time) to upload my little haul! I bought these items a while ago but I never really got to blog about them because I can't stand really short posts (being the picky me). Anywho, here are some items that have now found a new home in my little closet of goodies :) Happy shopping!
