My Current Wishlist

Spring is just around the corner and I cannot wait to put away my winter parka! On the downside, a new season usually means a new set of clothes (it's the law of physics). Sadly (but not so sadly) I am going to New York at the end of the month and so I must save instead of buying some few key things I would love to have! Oh well, I'm not too phased about that and surprisingly I've been doing really well with balancing my pay cheques in between food...and well food! For spring, I'm not sure why but I'm still craving a lot of black leather looks with bright pops of neon in my accessories. I've also decided to pursue my love for the 5 zipper Rebecca Minkoff bag instead of the burgundy mini mac one (and that colour is all sold out!) I am also in desperate need of new black flats so there's no surprise why it's on my wishlist. Finally, a few graphic shirts and a pair of camo pants never hurt anyone! (And maybe a new leather jacket...who knows). Till next time, xo

J'adore

I seriously cannot get enough of this girl and her style that I had to make 2 posts in one day. With her ability to look edgy yet feminine, this girl has definitely won her way into my wardrobe's heart. And while I doubt I will be watching any Shenae Grimes on television any time soon, there is no limit to me googling, tumblring, instagraming (and whatever else you crazy kids are up to nowadays) this lady's awesome style! Happy Sunday xo,

Living for the Weekend

Ever since I started student teaching (oh right, news cap: I am now teaching in classrooms. Hide yo kids, hide yo homework), I seriously feel that I am condemned to a life of cotton shirts and blazers. Luckily though, I still have the weekend to indulge in my somewhat edgy and "non-appropriate" classroom clothes! Here are just a few little outfits I have pieced together for the past few weeks. Enjoy xo,

Confessions of an Instagramer

So let me be frank here, I have been sucked into the life of Instagram! Yup, thats right. I have finally gifted myself with an iPhone and am now abusing my privledges by taking a concerning amount of OOTD posts and something called "foodporn." And so due to the fact that my camera is no longer hooking up to my computer, feel free to follow me @_chellebelle on Instagram where you can finally catch up with me! Otherwise, I'm going to try and fix my camera problems so I can be on this more often. Till then, catch you later xo

New Year, New Beginnings

Resolutions. What an odd word used to bring in and describe the new year since it typically means to make a decision to do or not do something. For many, this means hitting the gym 5 times a week or completely cutting junk food out of their diets. For others, it is putting in the effort to learn how to cook or finally completing a last minute project in your home. But if you really think about it, a resolution should be exactly what the word resolution is composed of and that is finding more or multiple solutions. Honestly, I don't think that cutting things out of our lives or introducing strange and extreme things/activities is necessarily healthy. Our bodies need time to adjust and accommodate to change. So instead, the new year should be about constant reflection, reassessment, evaluation and not only about introductions and eliminations. It should be about transformations we want for the remainder of our lives and not only a few months. It is about finding "re-solutions" to cope with this vast and ever changing world. Needless to say, my new years resolution consists of much needed rest and relaxation, appreciating and taking care of my body, meditation and a little lesson on patience. So here's wishing you a happy new year and many more to come. xo
